Don’t talk to yourself that way. You don’t deserve to treat yourself like that.”

So far in 2020, I’ve delivered those 2 lines to 2 preteen kiddos and 2 teenagers.

How many times per day do you say things to yourself that you would never say to someone else?

Why do you treat yourself like that?

When’s the last time you told yourself that you were smart? Strong? Creative? Significant?

When’s the last time you told yourself that you were beauty incarnate, with a strawberry on top?

When is the last time you looked in the mirror, smiled and worked out anything?

It’s so simple.

Yes, this gesture can feel like a selfie without the snap but it’s worth the laugh. It’s worth the effort. It’s worth a shot, especially if it helps a lot.

Did you grow up thinking you’re dumb? Unworthy? Weak? Weird? Wack?

Do you worry that all you have is looks?

Do you think you’re ugly?

I thought something similar for a while. I even changed and sculpted my face, hair and more to become more adored.

I used to talk to myself like I was my own best enemy. Sometimes I’d dig so deep through my details that I would find the devil in them–except I’ve found there’s always a path without wrath.

And for the record, I never deserved to treat myself poorly because I am a kind human being seeking to restore Remembrance.

And I am a loving person who is compelled to remind you that you are a good person as well. It’s okay, sometimes I need reminders for my blinders, too.

It’s also good to broadcast that despite the dark crimes being committed against humanity, We, the People are rooted in Light.

Yes, you may have committed acts of imperfection, but are you working to make progress in the process?

Are you evaluating the ways you’ve forsaken yourself and others?

Have you forgiven yourself or others for past transgressions?

Are you developing your mental, physical and spiritual strength?

Do you possess God-given gifts to create change?

What are you willing to do to transform this realm?

What are you willing to do to break chains?

Have you been keeping watch for The End?

It seems the New Story is here. When will you begin?
